Feeding: He is taking three 8 oz. bottles of formula per day. One before nap, one after nap, and one before bed. Every day he has breakfast, snack, bottle, nap, lunch, bottle, snack, dinner, bottle, then bed. He loves food! He also really likes to drop his food on the floor to Ike. He loves all food and believes that if you are eating something, he is entitled to some of it.
Sleeping: Mason is sleeping great! One nap still, pretty religiously at noon. He will nap for 2-3 hours usually. He goes to bed between 7 and 8 at night. He is easy. We just feed him, then he snuggled us on our chest and dozes off. We put him in his crib, he wakes up and snuggles in and falls asleep. :)
Growing: He was weighed a week or so before he turned 11 months because of a doctor visit. He was almost 24 pounds. People always comment that he is our "linebacker" and that he is so big and burly.
Mason is walking all over now. This has resulted in daily battle wounds! He is enjoying his newfound way of getting around. He likes to walk around outside especially.
He can say "mama" now but doesn't use it to talk to me or about me, it seems. He can sign "more" while he is eating. And he says "ahhhhh" (like he's refreshed), when he wants water. He loves to communicate with us!
Mason has gone to the park many times since the weather has warmed up. He loves it!
During a nasty inversion, we took a small trip to Park City to get fresh air. He was so pleasant while we strolled Main Street and had lunch with Hailey, Olivia and Addison.
He had his first trip to the zoo. The orangutan was very interested in him!
Mason got RSV. He was coughing, sneezing, congested and wheezy. We brought him into the doctor just to be safe, and they told us to just keep suctioning his mucus and that he should be able to get better from home. He did!
He loves cars, blocks, tupperware, our phones, and his toothbrush.
We are so lucky this cute boy is ours!
