Mason is 12 months old. One whole year old. What an amazing year it has been with him in our lives. We are incredibly fortunate to be his parents. Happiest First Birthday to our amazing baby boy!
Feeding: Mason has 2 bottles per day. One before nap and one before bedtime. He usually has 8 oz. Using the same Honest Co. formula.
Sleeping: Still sleeping like a champ. He sleeps from about 8 to 8 at night. He naps for 2-3 hours midday. We feed him, then sing to him, and he snuggles up and falls asleep. They are the best moments.
Growing: Mason is BIG. He weighs 24 lb. 13 oz. (92nd percentile) and is 31 inches tall (90th percentile). He is mostly wearing 18-24 month sizes. Still in size 4 diapers.
Mason visited the dentist for the first time. He did great! No cavities and they weren't concerned about his tiny chip in his front tooth.
Mason is working on running and climbing. He is such a busy boy.
He loves wrestling and tickle time with us, especially his daddy.
He loves to eat crackers, peas, bananas, waffles, and oranges. Truly, he will pretty much eat anything. He eats with us and does mainly finger foods. He is not about biting his food, he just puts the whole thing in his mouth. He also prefers to put handfuls of food in his mouth rather than one at a time.
He tried cows milk and he spit it out. Which is fine with us, because we generally have almond milk at home.
He says: daddy, cracker, ball, duck, and mama (very rarely).
He loves balls, cars and stacking things. He makes car sounds when pushing cars.
His hair is fine and very blonde. He still doesn't have much of it, but it is coming in.
His eyes appear to be hazel, but we still aren't quite sure!
We celebrated his birthday at the park with family and friends. I will make a post dedicated to the party soon.
He's our pride and joy. We sure do love him!
